JOB SUMMARY.
The Junior Business Development Officer will support the company's growth efforts by identifying business opportunities, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and executing strategies to drive revenue. The role is ideal for a proactive individual passionate about sales, partnerships, and market research, willing to learn and grow within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Market Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
  • Analyze competitors and market conditions to support strategic decision-making.

Client Acquisition & Retention:

  • Identify and engage potential clients through various outreach methods (cold calling, emails, networking, etc.).
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention.
  • Assist in managing the sales pipeline and follow up on leads to convert them into clients.

Proposal & Presentation Development:

  • Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
  • Support the development of tailored solutions for clients based on their needs and Mighty Procurement Services' offerings.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure that client expectations are aligned with service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support campaigns that drive business development.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and business development activities.
  • Report on performance metrics, such as lead generation, sales conversions, and revenue growth, to the Business Development Manager.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Number of new client acquisitions per quarter.
  • Revenue generated from new business.
  • Client retention rate.
  • Quality and timeliness of market research reports.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in sales, business development, or a similar role in procurement services or related industries.
